Participating FFA students write speeches with the topic

"Discuss the Benefits and/or Positivity of the Pet Industry".

From these speeches, one winner is chosen from each FFA district.

At the MPBA Annual Educational Conference each March, the district winners compete to win 1st and 2nd place overall.

• 1st place winner is awarded $500 for the winner and $500 for their FFA chapter
• 2nd place winner is awarded $250 for the winner and $250 for their FFA chapter 
• All other district winners are awarded $50 for the winner and $50 for their FFA chapter
