Missouri's professional pet breeders. MPBA promotes cooperation between other organizations throughout the USA in support of the pet industry.
MPBA offers an opportunity to exchange ideas and information with other professionals engaged in the pet industry. It is an avenue to provide
educational materials and information through a quarterly magazine, workshops , clinics and conferences, in addition to promoting "Missouri bred,born, and raised pets."
MPBA members are kept informed on legislative issues that influence the industry. Issues facing the pet industry are discussed at meetings &
conferences. State & National issues facing the Legislature are monitored & membership is informed so that Senators & Representatives may be contacted by members in each area of the
During the year, chapters of MPBA throughout the state offer educational meetings & dog shows for novices who wish to show their pets.
Representatives of each Chapter are elected to the Board of MPBA & are their areas voice to make decisions during monthly meetings in which MPBA business is discussed. They act as liasons
between the general public and the pet breeder.
